GS Machining offers a complete line of custom punches and pins in both tungsten carbide and premium tool steel. From pin punches and hex punches to square punches and complex multi-lobe forming profiles, we manufacture tooling engineered for demanding cold forming, stamping, and heading operations.

Carbide Punches & Pins

Our tungsten carbide punches and pins deliver superior hardness and compressive strength — significantly outperforming steel in high-wear applications.

• Carbide Punches: Cylindrical, block, specialty, and forming punches in various geometries
• Carbide Pins: Core pins, ejector pins, and custom pin configurations
• Multi-Lobe Punches: 9-lobe and custom multi-profile punches for complex forming

Materials: WF30, K100, K200, WF05, UF03 from CB Carbide; CD650 from Kennametal; YG6X, YG8, YG10, YG13X, YG15 from quality Chinese manufacturers.

Steel Punches & Pins

Our steel punches and pins deliver reliable performance in stamping, forging, deep drawing, and cold forming operations.

• Punches: Cold forging punches, deep drawing punches, forming punches, heading punches, hexagon punches
• Pins: Die punch pins, ejector pins, custom pin configurations
• Specialty: Punches with TiN/TiCN/DLC coating, punches with complex tip geometries

Materials: 1.3343 (HSS), 1.2379 (D2), 1.2343 (H11), 1.2516, powder metallurgy HSS, and other grades — heat treated to HRC 60±2.

Manufacturing & Quality

Processes include CNC turning, CNC lathing, profile grinding, mirror EDM (Mitsubishi), wire-EDM (Seibu), and fine polishing to Ra0.4. All components undergo 2D measurement, roundness testing, hardness verification, and surface finish inspection. TiN, TiCN, and DLC coatings applied to specification.
